Enjoy a festive atmosphere on the Londonderry Common after the parade by enjoying the live music provided by the Hudson American Legion Band. The band has been part of our annual event for over ten years and will again be the leading act at the 120th Old Home Day Celebration. Along with the Hudson American Legion Band Dan Lekas of Flashback Entertainment will be featured on the bandstand providing music playing your favorite tunes and requests. Don’t forget your singing voice as Karaoke will be available..
The activities just continue to grow Orchard Christian Fellowship will host a continental breakfast before the road race. A baby changing station will be provided across from the common at the Methodist Church, and will host numerous activities throughout the day.
Family Bingo was such a giant success that this has become a permanent addition to our Celebration the event will be held in the Matthew Thornton Gym.
The Old Home Day Committee continues to sponsor the annual baby contest. All babies that are residents of Londonderry, and born between August 1, 2018 to August 10, 2019 are invited to be contestants in the annual Londonderry Old Home Day Baby Contest. Event Registration gives The Londonderry Old Home Day Committee approval to use any pictures taken of your child or the contest in order to promote Londonderry Old Home Day.
There will be prizes awarded for the following categories:
- Best Personality
- Best Dressed
- Best Smile
- Little Miss
- Little Master
Note: Pre-registration is required for this event. No exceptions.
Carnival Games on the Londonderry Common 11:30 an – 3:30 pm
What would the Old Home Day Celebration be without the activities provided by the Lions? With the success of the return of the Beer tent it will be part of the 2019 event. Londonderry’s own 603 Brewery will again provide the beer and possible additions could be added. We will continue to update this information as it becomes available. The Lions will once again offer their famous sausage sandwiches under the Pavilion and more.
4th Annual – North School PTA will host a Touch-A-Truck at Moose Hill School Parking lot. The event will be 12:00 pm ~ 2:00 pm. The cost is $3.00 per ticket, not to exceed $10.00 per family. Children under 1FREE with paying adult.
